Control The Access To Your Building

PHYSICAL ACCESS CONTROL

State of the art boom gate and gripper barriers, turnstiles and speed gates all integrate with our biometric access control products. Part of the physical access control portfolio is our under vehicle scanning systems which incorporates video surveillance technology to scan the undercarriages of entering vehicles and trucks.

The range of physical access control products include the following:

Turnstile

A turnstile access control system is a type of gate that allows a single person through a security checkpoint at a time. These access control systems are used all over the world – and a perfect way for any business to keep prying eyes away and employees safe.

Revolving doors

Revolving doors are a familiar sight at airports and large department stores. They facilitate rapid movement of people in and out of the building while keeping cold winds out of the warm interior space. They can also be very useful in access control because only one person can typically use each quadrant at a time.

Vehicle barriers

Vehicle barriers refer to any device that causes cars to slow down, usually purposefully but not necessarily. They are most often used in areas with high pedestrian traffic, especially when children and seniors make up a large portion of that pedestrian traffic, such as school zones.

Speedgates

Speed Gates are electronic optical turnstile gates that allow quick access. They utilize optical sensors and card reader access to quickly process pedestrian traffic and determine their entry credentials rapidly.

Man-trap cubicles

A mantrap, security mantrap portal, airlock, sally port or access control vestibule is a physical security access control system comprising a small space with two sets of interlocking doors, such that the first set of doors must close before the second set opens.
